I have an art show scheduled for the Black Drop Coffeehouse in July 2012. I’ve a couple ideas for it but am not sure if I’ll be able to make/prepare enough for a show. And in other news, I like that there is an iPhone Google+ app but I’m not too crazy about the keyboadr they use. It lacks some of the innovations of Apple’s default keyboard.

A couple months ago I came down with the swine flu, shortly after I came down with it Michele did and then later on so did the kids. Michele wasn’t able to make it to the Black Drop for about a month. One of the barista’s asked me if it was a part of my evil plot to drink up all the money on our card.

It’s not too bad so far. I’m sitting at work hardly taking any calls because there are none to be taken. I went to Sharris for pie last night as tradition demanded, got home just before 2 and crawled into bed. My wife took me to the Black Drop this morning for a Birthday Coffee. Work is slow enough that there’s a chance I may be allowed to go home early.

Fuck it’s cold. Friday it started snowing, it’s been doing it off and on since. I got a gig doing some window painting for The Black Drop Coffeehouse. 5 or 6 hours in the cold later and I was done. Pictures to follow…

Things to do…

I’ve been feeling almost overwhelmed lately with everything I’ve been failing to get done, and it’s not for lack of trying. I woke up about an hour ago, maybe an hour and a half. I’ve barely gotten anything accomplished. There’s a fair amount to do before my birthday celebration tonight, and I’ve yet to do more than fold a few pieces of laundry. I got engaged a couple weeks ago, life leading up to that was part of what the problem was with me getting any comicing done. Now that that’s over I find myself training my replacement at work. It’s a time consuming endeavor that takes away about 9 to 12 hours a week of time that I’d use to do arty stuff.

I’m gonna work on some quick cleaning of the house, and then see about the possibility of popping off to the Black Drop for a couple hours of art and coffee.

I should be back here by about 4 to do the last minute shopping, preparation, and such.

I’m a creature of pattern and habit, it’s very difficult to change those patterns and habits.
