Dutch Bros.

My wife and I over the past few months have found ourselves heading into Oregon 3 times to visit my family. The first time we came down we saw Dutch Bros but didn’t try it, the second time on our way back north we each got a drink. We both were quite pleasantly surprised by the quality of the drink. So far we’ve ended up there 4 or 5 times, they’re inexpensive and while it’s a blatant chain (147 stands) it has the best drinks for the best prices of any interstate franchise I’ve been to.

Small – $2.50, Medium – $3.00, Large – $3.75

Michele, Tallis, Simon, and myself have tried several variants of their drinks. The first time we went Michele got a Double Dutch Mocha, a mocha with both milk and dark chocolate. It’s rich and creamy and my wife adores them, even though she is not a huge fan of mocha’s in general. Myself, I got a Dutch Freeze. It’s a blended coffee drink along the lines of a slurpee. The Dutch Freeze has become one of our favorites, Tallis and Simon had it with Caramel flavor. Michele and I have since had it with their special dark chocolate and with Irish Cream, the later being overly sweet… even for my sweet tooth.

All in all I’d highly recommend them if you ever find yourself in their presence.
