Well, I’ve finally had a chance to troubleshoot my laptop and fortunately it looks to be simply an issue with the power cord. I like the idea of an $80 fix instead of an $80+ fix. Unfortunately I’m still recovering from Christmas so it looks like it will be another couple weeks before I can order the part. Then I’m probably looking at another week or so before it’d come in.
The new laptop I’m looking at getting is gonna run me just over $3000, I’m hoping that I can get the cash for that by late April or early May, preferably sooner.
I think I should start looking into government business startup grants. I really want to be able to make a living doing what I enjoy, instead of what I have to do.
