This news clip never aired on Faux News even though they shot it. (You see their video camera in frame at one point.) This footage was shot on a camera phone. Hooray for technology.
So, about 6-9 months ago I had this horrible inspiration of Disney re-releasing their movies in 3D. I shuddered when they did The Lion King. I understand that the 3D is not really that 3D, but now they’re planning on doing a bunch of their movies.
In my defense they didn’t steal my idea exactly, I was hoping for a CGI remake with the original audio and CGI in the style of the original movie.
Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.
I have an art show scheduled for the Black Drop Coffeehouse in July 2012. I’ve a couple ideas for it but am not sure if I’ll be able to make/prepare enough for a show. And in other news, I like that there is an iPhone Google+ app but I’m not too crazy about the keyboadr they use. It lacks some of the innovations of Apple’s default keyboard.

As the tagline says, “An unlikely movie from @ThatKevinSmith.” Red State is far and away the best film I’ve seen this year. It was raw and dramatic with just the right hint of humor. Michael Parks and John Goodman left me dumbstruck. When it is streamed later this month or next I’m going to the Pickford Cinemas to see it as well. I read some of the reviews and the only thing I can figure with the 1 star reviews is that the reviewers were expecting the typical Kevin Smith faire and wound up with something unexpected. The other possibilities are that they were expecting a blood and gore horror flick and ended up with more of an unsettling action thriller instead. The final complaint I’ve heard is with the price, but honestly, not only is this a pre-DVD VOD rental, it’s also essentially a pre-theater release.
All in all, spectacular flick with amazing performances. Kudos to @ThatKevinSmith.
I’d happily pay full nighttime ticket price to see this at the local cinema.
